PURPOSE: To perform an insertion into a ring traveler well by moving a yarn storing part for supporting the free end of the yarn wound on a yarn-loading body and the ring traveler along each specific passage synergistically. CONSTITUTION: This method for handling yarn is provided by transferring a mouthpiece 16 three-dimensionally in a state of sucking and supporting the free end of yarn 6.1 wound on a bobbin 40 in a tube of a yarn storing part 15 and moving it from a directly upper position of a spinning ring 23 in a tangential direction toward the spinning ring 23 until an upper direction of the working surface of the spinning ring 23 along an inclinationα. By moving a ring traveler 24 from an upper gripping region of the yarn 6.1 by a brush 31, etc., in a direction of the upper gripping position synergistically with the mouthpiece 16 for inserting the yarn 6.1.
