PURPOSE:To prevent moving object from being photographed extending outside a picture frame by selecting a trimming range wider than a normal photographic or preset trimming range when the object is in motion. CONSTITUTION:A photographic mode button has a direct photographing mode wherein focusing is performed right after a shutter release button is operated and a photograph is taken, and a mode wherein a lens photographic distance which is set at the point of release button operation is held without driving the lens thereafter. A framing mode consists of normal photography for a normal photographic range, trimming photography 1 wherein little a bit narrower trimming range is indicated, and trimming photography 2 wherein a further narrower trimming range is indicated. A framing mode button 3 is used to select either one of the three framing modes from outside. Consequently, when trimming photography is set in stand-by state, the moving object is prevented from extending out of the printed picture frame. |
