PURPOSE:To automatically generate logic obtaining data on derivation specification and to improve the productivity of a program by including pointers pointing derivation specification in a dictionary and sequentially developing derivation specification by means of following them. CONSTITUTION:The dictionary 1 includes the pointer for related derivation specification 201 in a specification data base 2, and the data base 2 includes the pointers of respective items for the dictionary, which are included in the middle of derivation. A development means 3 reads a source program 11, takes out an attribute when reference to the dictionary 1 is executed in the program 11. Then, the means 3 takes out derivation specification from the data base 2 so as to develop it in the program when derivation specification exists. A generation means 4 generates an instruction sequence which actually operates based on a development program 12. Thus, logic obtaining data is automatically generated and the productivity of the program is improved.
