PURPOSE:To improve outside appearance by fitting an-unvulcanized partially fabricated item formed into a hollow form onto a metal mold for corner part and introducing the pressurized air into the hollow part. CONSTITUTION:A rectilinear weather strip 1 having a hollow part 1a and a lip piece 1b is formed through extrusion molding, and fitted into a metal mold 5 for corner part having the part between X-X and Y-Y formed into arcuate form in an-unvulcanized state, and a cock 6 is fitted at one edge of the hollow part 1a in the rectilinear part, and air P is introduced from the other edge, and the heating vulcanization molding is carried out in the state where the hollow part 2a of the corner part 2 is expanded. Therefore, the corner part 2 of the hollow weather strip which is free from fatigue, shrinkage or the like and has the superior outside appearance can be obtained. The corner part 2 can be easily installed onto a roof body 3, and the labor for installation can be reduced, and the corner part 2 can be fitted with a sunroof 4 and a roof panel opened port edge 3, and be the outside appearance can be improved drastically. |
