PURPOSE:To detect abnormality to stop the supply of sheets even when a copying device cannot detect an original-jam detecting signal for some reason by providing a control means for controlling various types of means to cut recording paper and stop the supply of the recording paper when abnormality is detected by a communication abnormality detecting means after the copying device starts the supply of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A control means 302 controls a driving means 505, a conveying means, a communication means, a communication abnormality detecting means to supply a recording paper and cut the recording paper according to original- length data and recording paper size data. Further, when abnormality is detected by the communication abnormality detecting means after a copying device 200 starts the supply of the recording paper, the control means controls the above means to cut the recording paper and stop the supply of the recording paper. Thus, useless waster of the recording paper can be prevented, and jam of the recording paper can be beforehand prevented. |
