PURPOSE:To eliminate an erroneous input by detecting the positional shifting of a sheet for items automatically and converting a coordinate detected by a tablet into the coordinate defined by the sheet for items. CONSTITUTION:An item sheet 4 in which items have been previously entered is put on the available input surface 3 of a graphic tablet 1 and fixed. The positional shifting of the sheet is detected by sheet position sensors 10-12 fitted on the tablet 1 and the positional coordinates detected by the sensors 10-12 are applied to an item sheet detecting circuit 201. Signals 105, 106, 107 corresponding to the positional shifting on the sheet 4 are outputted from the circuit 201 and inputted to a coordinate calculating circuit 202 to correct the prescribed operation. Pen touch signals 103, 104 from an input point position detecting circuit 200 are inputted to the circuit 202, the coordinates detected by the tablet 1 are converted into the one defined by the sheet 4 and signals 108, 109 are applied to an area discriminating circuit 203, discriminating the area including the items of the sheet 4 and preventing these erroneous inputs. |
