PURPOSE:To punch transformer case plates having many kinds of length without many kinds of mold, by operating a feeding mechanism for plate-shaped materials with electromagnetism to convert a constant length by which plate-shaped materials are fed. CONSTITUTION:A feeding machine 2B which feeds thin plate materials 1 set to a holding jig 8 feeds constant-length components of materials 1 to the center of molds 3 and 4 by the action of electromagnetism upon a feeding machine 2A, which is set for a constant length, while the electromagnetic circuit is opened by materials 1. Next, electromagnetism acts upon the feeding machine 2B to fix materials 1, and the feeding machine 2A is opened electromagnetically and is returned to the original position to prepare for the next feed. During this time, materials 1 are cut in cutting parts 5A and 5B by molds 3 and 4 and a press machine 10. simultaneously, the feeding machine 2B is opened electromagnetically, and electromagnetism acts upon the feeding machine 2A to feed materials 1 again. These feeding machines are operaed to change a constant length of feed, thereby obtaining many kinds of transformer case plate 6A with length adjusted. |
