PURPOSE:To securely and accurately perform connection switching between optical fibers with small error occurrence at least for a long period by forming holes that fitting pins of a moving plug penetrate to the size corresponding to the movement quantity of the moving plug whose long-diameter part is required for optical line switching. CONSTITUTION:A fixed plug 1 has one end of an optical coated fiber tapes 5 fixed at the center part and is fitted with a couple of fitting pins 3 on both its sides in a penetrating state and fitted in an unmovable state. A moving pin 2 has one end of an optical coated fiber tapes 6 fixed at the center part and long holes 2a that a couple of fitting pins 3 penetrate loosely in a constant direction are formed on both its sides. A V-groove substrate 4 has raised supporting parts 4a on both end sides and a V groove 4b for accurately support the fitting pins 3 in the unmovable state is formed in the top surface of the supporting part 4a. Consequently, the connection switching between the optical fibers is performed securely, stably, and accurately at all times. |
