PURPOSE:To prevent an error on use by combining the name of a user generating a sub-file and the name of the sub-file so as to attain control. CONSTITUTION:When the user USER-A9 or B10 designates the name of the sub-file from a display device 8 and requests display, substitution, addition or deletion, display, substitution, addition and deletion means 4-7 obtain the start block number and the termination block number of the designated sub-file from the directory part 2 of source library 1 and display the content of a corresponding data part 3 on the display device 8. Thus, the sub-file which the other user generates is prevented from being erroneously substituted or deleted even if plural users use one source library 1, and the sub-file in the source library is protected without especially processing it.
