摘要 PURPOSE: To treat particulate materials of different types by an efficient and matched method by passing a perforated conveyor structural body supporting the particulate products to be heat treated through a series of treating regions. CONSTITUTION: The air in a reheating chamber 90 heated by a burner 20 is supplied from a blower 24 via distributing conduits 84, 102 and control dampers 86, 106 to an upper plenum 80 and a bypass introducing pipe 94 and is supplied via a confinement chamber control damper 112 to respective confinement chambers 70 adjacent to the perforated conveyor structural body 44 to hold the particulate materials to be treated in the chamber 66. The jet 150 ejected out of the pipe 78 is deflected by a perforated baffle plate 79 positioned to the lower offset position of the pipe 78 to decelerate the velocity of the air flow colliding against the particulate material bed on the structural body 44. On the other hand, the air drying the particulate material is discharged through a lower plenum 92 to a cyclone 26 from a control damper 116 and a discharge conduit 118.
