PURPOSE:To decrease the transfer of the impact of batting to the palm of a gripping part by providing silicone gel layers oppositely at two points in the hollow part of a hard skeletal body where a batting part and the gripping part are connected and supporting the mass body in the silicone gel layers by a suspension holding rod without contact with the inside surface of a hollow part. CONSTITUTION:The impact waves at the time of batting are transferred from the batting part 2 of the frame of the hard skeletal body to the gripping part 32 and are transmitted from an outside cylinder 41 of the hollow part in the frame via the silicone gel layers 5 further to the suspension supporting rod 7 and the mass body 6. Resonance is generated and the oscillation of the frame is decreased to theoretically 0 when the weight of the mass body 6 and the viscoelasticity characteristic of the silicone gel layers 5 match. The oscillation of the mass body 6 and the suspension supporting rod 7 generates such a deformation that the front end of the suspension supporting rod 7 squeezes and twists the silicone gel layers 5 and, therefore, the oscillation energy is consumed as heat energy and the oscillation is rapidly attenuated. The impact oscillation at the time of the impact is rapidly focused in a short time in this way and the comfortable batting feel is obtd. |
