PURPOSE:To enable the contaminant of a mold to be effectively removed by a method in which the contaminant stuck to the blow molding die when polyester resin is molded into a bottle etc., is removed by using the alcohol containing fluorine. CONSTITUTION:The contaminant of a die occurring in blow molding of polyester is assumed to be the oligomer such as ring trimer. The alcohol containing fluorine has desirably the boiling point of 20-80 deg.C, preferably 30-50 deg.C, and definitely hexafluoroisopropanol. hexafluoro-n-propanol etc., are used. In these materials, hexafluoroisopropanol is especially preferable. Since such alcohol containing fluorine dissolves quickly the contaminant represented by the oligomer composed of ring trimer, the contaminant stuck a die may be effectively removed. Moreover, since the hexafluoroisopropanol as the alcohol containing fluorine has the low boiling point of 58 deg.C, it may be removed, if the die is heated. |
