PURPOSE:To automatically switch to other power source without power interruption only by disconnecting a power distribution line from one power source by providing a semiconductor anti-parallel circuit, a momentary voltage drop detector, a gate controller, and connecting this uninterruptive power switching device between the line and the other power source. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor anti-parallel circuit 1 connected in parallel with a series switch Q, a switch 2 connected in series with the circuit 1, a momentary voltage drop detector 3 for detecting a voltage drop of a zone BR to be switched to output a gate ON command, and a thyristor gate controller 5 for controlling to close or open the circuit 1 upon reception of gate ON, gate OFF command and manual or remote ON/OFF command, etc., are provided. The zone switch of a switching connecting point is closed, further an uninterruptive power switching device is opened, and removed from the line to complete switching. |
