A composition containing a) a polystyrene, substituted polystyrene, copolymer or terpolymer of styrene or of a substituted styrene, polycarbonate, polyester-carbonate, polyurethane, polyamide copolyamide, polyacetyl or polyphenylene oxide and b) at least one compound of the formula I <IMAGE> (I) in which R1 is methyl or ethyl and R2 is C2-C30 alkyl. Compounds of the formula I in which R2 is C8-C30alkyl are novel and are suitable for stabilizing organic materials against thermal, oxidative and actinic degradation. |
