<p>PURPOSE: To enable the management of the charge/discharge of the cells in a battery, by a method wherein a 1st wire and a 2nd wire are connected to each other, and a power is supplied to a 1st load from both a 1st power supply and a 2nd power supply for a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION: A 1st power supply consists of a DC source which has a battery with a discharge rate sufficient to supply a power to an electrical load required by the auxiliary functions of an automobile. A 2nd power supply consists of a DC source which has a battery with a discharge rate sufficient to supply a power to start the rotation of a starter motor 30 at the time of the engine start. The figure shows a construction consisting of a battery 1, two positive electrode leads 19 and 20 and an ignition switch 22 connected to the positive electrode lead 19. A generator 40 is directly connected to the positive electrode lead 19 and supplies a current to the starter motor 30 through leads 28 and 38. With this constitution, both of a high power to start the rotation and a power for a long time low revolution operation can be supplied from the two power sources.</p> |
