PURPOSE:To enable a simple and cheap constitution of a device by inputting a mode changing signal as one of external signals to change over driving modes with it and further by changing over functions of other external signals too according to the driving modes. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 inputs the data of a mode changing signal from an external signal input circuit 1. The CPU 2 changes over its inner state into a position control mode if the data is ON and into a speed control mode if the data in OFF. However, each of the signals of 'drive', 'alarm reset', and 'torque limitation' is not changed over since they are available in both the position control mode and the speed control mode. Therefore, in this case, three remaining signal of A, B, and C are changed over. Thereby, the number of the external signal input circuits can be decreased and the constitution of a device can be simple and cheap. |
