NETWORK COMPRISING CONTINUOUSLY INTERCONNECTED PLURAL STAGES AND CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: To select input/output requested by an exchanging mode and to reduce the cost by allowing each node at each stage to transmit an output signal to at least two nodes at a following stage and to receive the output signal from at least two nodes at a preceding stage in response to a control signal. CONSTITUTION: Each stage includes plural nodes 1621 and is provided with a network consisting of continuously and mutually connected plural stages including a transmission means 1622 which is for allowing each node at at least one stage to transmit an output signal to at least two nodes at a following stage in response to a corresponding signal and which is constituted of logical combination capable of receiving the output signal from at least two nodes at a preceding stage. In this case, by reducing the functionability of the nodes 1621, the complexity of the nodes 1621 is reduced. Thereby the total cost of the exchanging nodes 1621 to the network is reduced. The functionability of an exchanging network is attained not by designating connection between a specific not input and node output but by controlling which node to enable.
