摘要 PURPOSE:To constantly obtain maximum torque irrespective of change due to time, fluctuation in manufacture, etc. by a method wherein a crank angle with which cylinder pressure rising rate is maximum is calculated, and ignition time is controlled so that the average of the crank angle coincides with a specified target value. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 14 used in place of a seat metal of an ignition plug 11 takes out change in cylinder 5 pressure as an electrical signal. A controller 12 inputs an intake air amount signal S1 from an air flow meter 2, a water temperature signal S2 from a water temperature sensor 6, a crank angle signal S3 from a crank angle sensor 7, an air-fuel ratio signal S4 from an exhaust sensor 9, a pressure signal S6 from a pressure sensor 14 and a throttle full close signal. The crank signal with which cylinder 5 pressure rising rate is maximum is calculated, and ignition time is controlled so that its average value coincides with a pre-specified target value for outputting an ignition signal S7 to an ignition device 13 so as to drive the ignition plug 11.
