摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate a delay in closing a sub-throttle valve, and close the valve to the predetermined degree suitable for traction control at an early stage by closing preliminarily the sub-throttle valve by the predetermined degree for standby control, when the occurrence of an acceleration slip at a wheel is predicted. CONSTITUTION:The intake air passage D of an internal combustion engine C is provided with a sub-throttle valve E in addition to a throttle valve B opening and closing, depending upon the stepping degree of an accelerator pedal A. Also, the sub-throttle valve E is closed to the predetermined degree with a traction control means F upon occurrence of an acceleration slip. As a result, the intake air amount of the internal combustion engine C is restricted and the overtorque of a driving wheel is thereby reduced. In this case, an acceleration slip generated at the wheel is predicted with an acceleration slip prediction means H. When the generation of the acceleration slip is predicted, the sub- throttle valve E is so controlled with a standby control means J as to close by the predetermined degree.
