PURPOSE:To prevent an operator from mistakenly setting copying conditions by inhibiting a repeating action of a copying machine when a post-processing device is instructed to bind prior to copying start and permitting an operator to take only one copy. CONSTITUTION:In a microcomputer XM, the copying machine X does not interlock with a book binder Y. When the power source of the book binder Y is turned off and does not receive a signal from a microcomputer YM, a transfer sheet of B4 is not inhibited from being fed, but the copying machine X is operated in a basic mode. On the other hand, when the copying machine X interlocks with the book binder Y not in a merely eject mode where a copy material is folded in two to be ejected, the microcomputer XM inhibits the repeating action by a signal from the microcomputer YM (or a button 411), whereby only one copy can be taken from one original. Thus, an operator never mistakenly sets copying conditions. |
