PURPOSE:To simplify the motor constitution and to reduce the manufacture cost by supporting a rotor in a thrust direction only with a magnetic attractive force which is generated between a stator and the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A radial liquid bearing is constituted between the inner peripheral surface of a rotary sleeve 2 and the outer peripheral surface of a main spindle 1, but the thrust bearing of the rotary sleeve 2 is not arranged. Further, the magnetic attractive force is generated between a stator core 5 and a magnet 3 which is fixed to the rotary sleeve 2, so the magnet 3 tries to stay at the center part of the stator core 5. Therefore, the rotary sleeve 2 can be supported in the thrust direction with the magnetic attractive force unless a large external force is applied to the rotary sleeve 2. Consequently, the thrust bearing is not necessary, and consequently the constitution of the motor is simplified to reduce the manufacture cost. |
