PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound in good catalytic activity without problem of by-product, etc., by supplying ammonia, monoethanolamine and phosphorus-containing substance on a specific catalyst bed and reacting monoethanolamine and ammonia. CONSTITUTION:Ammonia or ethylenediamine, monoethanolamine and phosphorus-containing substance (e.g. phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid or pyrophosphoric acid) are supplied onto catalyst bed containing phosphoric acid or condensate of said acid preferably in 6-50 molar ratio of ammonia/ monoethanolamine or 1-5 molar ratio of ethylenediamine/monoethanolamine and reacted at 150-400 deg.C, especially 200-350 deg.C to afford the aimed compound. Besides, e.g. a catalyst composed of phosphoric acid carried with silica, etc., is used as said catalyst. |
