This treedozer head comprises: - a casing formed of a hollow cylindrical cap (12) and of a cover (14) which can be fixed in a removable way to the said cap, - at least one chain (52) composed of several links articulated together, one end link of which is provided with means (68, 69) making it possible to fix thereon, in a removable fashion, a cutting tool (70), the said chain being held over a portion of its length inside the casing, whilst a portion of adjustable length comprising at least the said end link (52) and the cutting tool which it carries projects outside of the casing through a slot pierced in the cylindrical wall (16) of the cap. <IMAGE>
