PURPOSE:To obtain an image of good quality having no stain by eliminating the influence of residual toner after a specific number of sheets are fed after a fixation jam occurs and remaining paper is processed, and then writing an image. CONSTITUTION:The subject controller is provided with a counting means 47 which has its counted value cleared in the case of the fixation jam, counts the number of sheets from the restart of paper feeding after the residual paper is processed, and also has the counted value cleared after the specific number of sheets passes to count the number of sheets of passing blank paper and an image write control means 45 which starts writing an image subsequent to a specific number of sheets. Therefore, the specific number of blank paper are fed after the fixation jam is removed to remove toner remaining at a fixation part. Consequently, no trace of residual toner is formed on paper which is fixed again and the excellent image picture quality is maintained. |
