PURPOSE:To enable complicate musical sound control faithfully to key operation by varying musical sound control parameters in steps according the signal generated by a signal generating means corresponding to the movement of an operation element over the entire movement range. CONSTITUTION:A key operation pulse detecting circuit 100, a key depression detecting circuit 110, a key depression end detecting circuit 120, and a touch data generating circuit 130 are provided for each key. The key operation pulse detecting circuit 100 detects a pulse signal generated by a pulse generation part PG provided for each key to generate a waveform. Then when an operation element for musical sound control such as a key is operated, the movement quantity of the operation element is increased associatively with the operation and the signal generating means PG generates the signal corresponding to the movement over the entire movement range, thereby varying the musical sound control parameters in a number of steps according to the signal. Consequently, the player can play a musical sound with delicate feeling. |
