14 The invention relates to a device (1) for discharging liquid or gaseous materials supplied in containers (3,4), which can be connected between discharge nozzle (13) of the container and a line (7,8) for transferring the medium to a processing apparatus (5), wherein the unwanted egress of medium into the open is prevented and pressure build-up inside the transfer system will be accommodated by changes in volume inside the device.
