PURPOSE:To inject a grout of short gel time into ground without evolution of CO2, by injecting an acid grout prepd. by mixing a common aq. water glass soln. for ground stabilization with CO2 and an alkaline reactive soln. to the ground with mixing. CONSTITUTION:Water glass and water are pumped from tanks 1 and 2 to preparation tank 4 respectively by pumps 1' and 2', to prepare a common aq. water glass soln. for ground stabilization contg. 39-105kg/cm<3> of SiO2. At the same time, CO2 is supplied from tank 3 via flow control valves 3' and 3'' to the preparation tank 4, to prepare an acid grout of pH 3-7. Then the grout is supplied via one inlet of double-pipe rod 6 for chemical injection under sustained pressure and simultaneously an alkaline reactive agent such as sodium aluminate in an amt. required to neutralize free carbonic acid in the grout is supplied from tank 5 via another inlet to a mixing chamber, in which they merge with each other, and then they are injected to ground while contacting and mixing with each other. |
