摘要 |
PURPOSE:To achieve laser oscillation by providing at least a titanium vapor generating means and an optically pumping means for optically pumping titanium atoms and by evaporating a titanium metal for optically pumping the titanium atoms. CONSTITUTION:A titanium vapor room 1 is previously put into vacuum state and helium gas is sealed into it. Nitride laser devices 2 and 3 are pumped by a pumping device PO. Nitride laser light from the nitride laser device 2 which is reflected by mirror 14 is allowed to converge by a condenser lens 18 and is applied to a titanium plate 5 through a crystal window 6, thus fusing the titanium plate 5 and turning the titanium atoms constituting the titanium plate 5 into vapor. The nitride laser device 3 is activated by a trigger pulse with a specified time delay. Titanium laser light from the titanium laser device 3 which is reflected by a mirror 17 is led to the titanium vapor room 1 through a crystal window 7 and optically pumps the titanium atoms which have been turned into vapor, thus achieving laser oscillation. |
