The invention relates to equipment for regenerating a reforming catalyst, the reforming being carried out in at least two reactors in series through which the catalyst and the charge successively move. The apparatus is characterised in that it comprises a first region (101) containing a radial fluidised bed for combustion of the catalyst, a second region (105) containing a radial fluidised bed for combustion of the catalyst, a region (107) containing an axial fluidised bed for oxychlorination of the catalyst and a region (116) containing an axial fluidised bed for calcination of the catalyst, means (108) for discharging the gases drawn off from the second combustion region, a loop (147) for washing these gases drawn off from the second combustion region, a region (150-a) for washing the washed gases, means (111) and (30) for mixing, before washing, the gases drawn of from the second combustion region with the gases drawn off from the oxychlorination and calcination region, means (32) and (55) for conveying a part of the washed and dried gases into the combustion regions and making them move in these regions cocurrently with the catalyst, means (136) for conveying another part of the washed and dried gases into the combustion region and making them move countercurrentwise to the catalyst therein, and means for then making the latter gases move cocurrently with the catalyst in the oxychlorination region. <IMAGE>
