PURPOSE:To decrease fogging and to maintain high image quality without degrading developability by providing a toner contg. magnetic material particles and a block copolymer or graft copolymer of crystalline polyester and amorphous ion crosslinked vinyl polymer as a binder and a carrier. CONSTITUTION:The copolymer in which the crystalline polyester and the amorphous ion crosslinked vinyl polymer are chemically combined is used as the binder of the toner. Namely, the amorphous ion crosslinked vinyl polymer has the functional group which can form the block copolymer or graft copolymer with the crystalline polyester to be used together with this polymer. The toner for two-component type development is obtd. by using the block copolymer or graft copolymer obtd. by chemically combining the above-mentioned crystalline polyester and the amorphous ion crosslinked vinyl polymer as its essential component. The fogging is decreased and the high image quality is maintained without degrading the developability in this way. |
