PURPOSE:To easily observe a picture by providing means for estimated position calculation and satellite measuring position calculation and changing the present location of a traveling object from calculated values corresponding to a estimated present location and the size of estimation error. CONSTITUTION:With the move of a car, the outputs of a direction sensor 12 and a distance sensor 13 are fetched and the estimated position for the present location of the car is calculated by an estimated position calculating means (a). Radio waves emitted from a GPS satellite are received and a satellite measuring position calculating means (b) calculates a distance between the satellite and the present position and calculates the measured position. For these position information, the same information are obtained by various means and when filtering processing is executed to these information by a filtering means (c), the estimated present location and estimation error can be obtained with high accuracy. Next, by using these values, a display map control means (d) changes the display picture. Thus, the present location display for traveling object can be obtained to be easily observed for the crew of the car. |
