PURPOSE: To produce a pharmaceutical composition of low toxicity that contains a specific compound containing ions of Keggin structure, and has human immunodeficient virus-infectious cytoactivity. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition contains a compound of formula I [A is a cation (e.g. H, an alkali metal, etc.); (x) is an integer that varies in oxidized condition of M, D and D' (M is boron, silicon; D is a metal; D' is a lanthanide (oxidation state: 3 or 4); L is a neutral or anionic ligand; (y) is an integer] or formula II, which contains ions of Keggin structure. The compound of formula I or II is mixed homogeneously with a pharmacologically permissible diluent and vehicle. |
