PURPOSE:To improve the energy density by providing a positive electrode using the powder of a positive electrode active substance made by the reaction of an inorganic fluorine compound and an aromatic compound including nitrogen in an electrolyte solvent, and a carbon powder, as the main component, and a negative electrode of a metal Li. CONSTITUTION:To a solution made by dissolving Li borate tetrafluoride in propylene carbonate, phtharazine is added at the ratio about 0.57mol to the Li borate tetrafluoride, it is stirred sufficiently to produce a sediment, the sediment is washed with water to remove the solvent component, and dried to make into a powder. The powder about 200mg is mixed and kneaded with acetylene black about 60mg and polytetrafluoroethylene 20mg, and the mixture is formed in the condition covered with a Ti mesh to make a positive electrode. A metal Li is used as a negative electrode, and a solution about 1.5ml at the density of about 1mol/l of the Li borate tetrafluoride in the propylene carbonate is used as the electrolyte. The Li battery composed in such a way can maintain the discharge without a head drop for a long period. |
