Palleting system for grouped articles - has layer slider ensuring smooth transfer of even delicate goods

The palleting system has a grouping station where the goods are grouped prior to being pushed onto a loading station by means of a positioning slider (31). A layer slider (50) mounted between the grouping station (70) and the position slider (31) in association with a preferably endless conveyor means and at least one slider moves the grouped articles (8) from the active area of the grouping station (70) into the active area of the positioning slider (31). The goods (8) are moved up to the loading plate with a constant conveyor speed which can be positively stepped from palleting part to palleting part or is constantly rising. The loading station is pref. provided with a loading plate which is closed at the same speed as the positioning slider moves on the goods onto the loading plate parts. USE/ADVANTAGE - The goods can be quickly and smoothly moved over all the palleting stations up to the loading station.
