The data acquistion system is used as an aid in medical treatment of conditions based upon the clinical monitoring of the effect of medicaments. The unit allows the continuous logging of a specific effect. Typically, the subjective variation in a sensation, e.g. pain can be monitored with regard to duration, frequency and intensity.
