摘要 Synthetic resin reagents are uniformly mixed together for injection into rocks to stabilise them. In the process the reagents have separate tanks and are pumped separately to a probe device where they enter a static mixer and are then injected as a mixt. The system evens out losses in flow or pressure in both streams and also evens out their air content. The two resin reagents are pumped (5) from their respective tanks (2,3) to their pipelines (8,9) and are combined together beyond non-return valves (13). The flow together into the static mixer (11) and thence to the probe used (10). The two reagents are passed through identical flexible pipes (8,9) and in identical vols. so that they are equally proportioned in the mixer (11). The system uses precise pressure valves (14) and the non-return valves (15) are of a wear-resistant type hardened valve seatings and balls with polished finish. The valves are combined together into one unit in a combined pump (5). ADVANTAGE - The process maintains a constant required volumetric ratio between the reagents used.
