A two-part fastener for securing a bealding 28 to the edge of a plate 29, 30, comprises a resilient U-shaped clip 22 and a. saddle 10 having a web 12, two limbs 13, 14 and a pair of outwardly directed feet 15, 16 each limb being formed with an external protruberance 13A, 14A and a central part of the web and limbs being cut away to leave a gap 11, the arrangement being such that the saddle 10 can be seated over the edge of the plate, the clip 22 can then be located in the gap 11 with its arms resiliently gripping the edge of the plate with the free ends of its arms abutting against edges 20, 21 of the gap in the saddle and the beading 28 can thereafter be sprung over the pratruberances on the limbs of the saddle. The saddle may be made from a plastics material. |
