PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of a battery, by pushing a contact plate to the edge part of one side electrode band, protruded from the surface of an electrode roll by the force of a shrinked compression spring, to insert an end pole into a contact lamp. CONSTITUTION: A connecting element is composed of a contact plate 1 equipped with a forklike contact clamp 2 welded to the center, and a compression spring 5 mounted on the contact plate 1 via an insulating plate 3 having a hole at the center. The plate 1 is pushed to the edge part of one side electrode band 8 protruded from the end surface of an electrode roll by the force of a shrinked compression spring 2 and an end pole 14 is inserted into the clamp 2. Consequently, final positioning can be made without a welding process by using a connecting element preassembled in the outside of a battery composed of plural part for electrically fitting a roll pole to its outside pole. |
