OIL RECOVERING FROM ORGANIC SLUDGE

PURPOSE:To recover low b.p. oily matter from a condensate by forming the oily matter by thermochemical reaction of org. sludge under a high temp. and high pressure condition of saturated vapor pressure +5kg/cm<2> or less and cooling and condensing the evaporated steam containing the oily substance. CONSTITUTION:The org. sludge introduced into the preheating part 1 of a reaction apparatus from a line 9 is preheated by the mixed vapor from the reaction part 2 of the reaction apparatus to enter the reaction part 2 and reacted at high temp. under high pressure of saturated vapor pressure +5kg/cm<2> at reaction temp. to form oily matter and the evaporated mixed vapor of low b.p. components and steam gives heat to the org. sludge as a heating source in the preheating part 1 to condense and enters an oil-moisture separation apparatus 7 through a vacuum apparatus 6. The oily matter useful as liquid fuel is separated and recovered through a line 19 and an aqueous phase is treated by an ammonia removing apparatus 8 to be returned to a water treatment system through a line 21. The residual reaction product introduced into a combustion apparatus 4 through a pressure holding valve 3 while combustion gas is subjected to heat recovery as the heat source of the heating medium of the reaction part 2 in a waste heat boiler 5.
