Prepn. of condensn. prods. of low salt content between substitd. cyclodextrines and epoxy cpds. in the presence of insol. basic polyelectrolytes. The latter is added to the otherwise customery aq. basic reaction mix at 10-600 wt.% (based on cyclodextrine). Opt., the cyclodextrine soln. is also passed consecutively through ion exchange columns in the H+ and OH- forms respectively.
