PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for replacement work of a transparent protecting plate and to improve the working rate by providing a cleaning means to remove continuously splashed materials which splashed from a workpiece and accumulated on the surface of the transparent protecting plate in opposition to the workpiece by irradiation of a convergent beam. CONSTITUTION:The splashed materials 14a are prevented from sticking to a convergent lens 13 by the transparent protecting plate 15 to rotate on a plane and the cleaning means 16 (rotational brushes) rubs the surface 15a of the protecting plate 15 with the fiber tips of flocked fibers 16b to remove the splashed materials 14a. While the protecting plate 15 is making one round, the splashed materials 14a are removed by the flocked fibers 16b and sucked up by a dust collector 18 and the splashed materials 14 are not accumulated thickly on the surface 15a of the protecting plate 15 with the lapse of time. By this method, the need for confirmation work of an accumulated state of the splashed materials 14a and replacement work of the fixed transparent protecting plate required in the machine heretofore in use is entirely eliminated. |
