摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To avoid excessive recirculation of exhaust gas even though air intake throttling is performed, by decreasing the opening amount of an exhaust gas recirculation control valve in response to the increase in the negative pressure of an air intake pipe accompanied by air intake throttling when it is performed. CONSTITUTION:A control device 35 measures the pressure difference between an air intake system pressure and an exhaust system pressure which are detected by a pressure difference sensor 60 and performs the corrective control so as to reduce an objective valve opening amount of the exhaust air recirculating control valve 14 in response to the increase in the pressure difference. Therefore the air intake throttling is performed by an air intake throttle valve 42 at the time of regeneration of a particle capturing device 12. Even though the negative pressure in the air intake pipe is increased accordingly and the pressure difference between the air intake pressure and the exhaust pressure is increased, the opening amount of the exhaust gas recirculation control valve is reduced accompanied by the negative pressure in the air intake pipe, based on the corrective control of the objective valve opening amount. Thus, the exhaust gas recirculation is performed at an adequate flow rate.</p>
