<p>PURPOSE:To obtain urushi wax capable of perfectly closed packaging, of keeping from getting moldy and of improvement in transport and storage by adding hot water to a melt of crude urushi wax followed by agitation and then adding an acid and electrolyte to the system followed by further agitation and then removing water and impurities. CONSTITUTION:Hot water is added to a melt of crude urushi wax followed by agitation and then adding an acid (pref. organic acid) and an electrolyte (pref. sodium chloride) to the system followed by further agitation. The resultant system is allowed to stand, both the water and impurities separated are removed, and the molten wax left is filtered and purified, thus obtaining the objective urushi wax.</p> |
