The code conversion electronic circuit converts reliably all prods. 9 x 9 from dual into the BCD-8421-code. In its output stage there are no correction circuits and no branch circuits for the digit 10. In the input stage pref. is a striple decadic branch circuit, but branches off the digit 10 from 16. Typically a partial circuit processes values 2 and 8 for a transfer with the value 10. Another partial circuit may process the values 4 and 6. A third partial circuit processes values 4 and 8, or 6 and 8, giving the residual value of 2 over a free input and a residual value 4 respectively. ADVANTAGE - Increased precision and reliability.
