Electronic multiplier-divider circuit contg. adder-subtractor circuit - switchable between addition and subtraction and maintaining sufficiently small number of required circuits
摘要
An electronic multiplier-divider circuit consists of a number of adder-subtractor circuits which can be switched over from addition to subtraction and vice-versa. The number of circuits (1) required can be held sufficiently small by using shift registers (5, 6) extended in the appropriate direction and limitation of the mitliplicand bit locations and divisor bit locations to fewer than 8 decimal places. The addition-subtraction circuits contain a circuit with which the divisor can be nines complement or universally processed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be switched between multiplication and division.y
