This invention relates to phenolic foams of low thermal conductivity derivable from a phenolic resin, a hardener, a cell stabilizer, a solvent and a blowing agent comprising dichlorotrifluoroethane or dichlorofluoroethane and to a process for producing the same. The blowing agent is more user friendly than agents used hitherto with regard to the adverse effect of conventional CFC's on the ozone layer. |
