PURPOSE:To arrange that a voltage for wire feed detection use is not applied directly to a chip by a method wherein a wire feed apparatus is released completely electrically from a main body. CONSTITUTION:When a wire becomes scarce, the wire 4 comes into contact with a voltage source 6 for wire feed detection use; a motor inside a wire feed apparatus is actuated; a wire spool 5 is turned; the wire 4 is sent out. When the wire 4 becomes long, it comes into contact with a grounding sheet at one part of a main body; the motor inside the wire feed apparatus is stopped; the wire spool 5 is stopped. When the wire feed apparatus is released electrically from the main body in this case, a voltage of the voltage source 6 for wire feed detection use is connected to the wire feed apparatus via the wire spool 5 from the wire 4 when the motor sending out the wire 4 is actuated. Thereby, the voltage of the voltage source 6 is not connected to a chip 2 at all. |
