PURPOSE:To attain the communication with the same protocol as that of the electric type by providing a pulse width management means ANDing the output signal of a pulse width fixing means and the input signal of the means without using a switching control signal from other station and a present station monitoring control section. CONSTITUTION:An optical signal from other station is converted into an electric signal by an optic/electric converter 3a via a demultiplexing/multiplexing circuit 2. The reception signal is fixed to a prescribed pulse width independently of the reception signal pulse width through a pulse width fixing circuit 4 via OR circuit 5a, 5b. Then the pulse output and the reception signal itself are ANDed by an AND circuit 6, amplified by an electric optic converter 3b and sent in 2-way via a single line external optical guide path 1 as optical signal via the circuit 2. Moreover, the information generated in the present station is outputted from a terminal equipment 7 and subjected to pulse width management by a pulse width management circuit 8 and the circuit 4 similarly as the received electric signal. Then the information becomes an optical signal by the converter 3b and sent in 2-way via the circuit 2. |
