Arrangement for forming an oblong hole in the soil, which arrangement comprises a hollow, flexible line, a head 2' which is connected to one end of the line and provided with at least one mouthpiece 5', through which a fluid conveyed under pressure by the line is discharged in such a direction and at such a pressure that the head forms a hole with a curved shape when the head does not rotate and a straight hole when the head rotates about its longitudinal axis and the line is moved forwards in its hole-forming direction, the head having, at its end facing in the hole-forming direction, a surface which is inclined in relation to its longitudinal direction and contributes to the formation by the head of a curved hole. The inclined surface is formed on an element 6' which is fixed on the head and is fastened to the head adjustably in such a manner that it is possible to carry out adjustments of the angle of the element in relation to the longitudinal axis of the head. <IMAGE>
