Foods with a sweet taste and with reduced calorie content, which contain as fillers of low calorific value water-soluble polysaccharides, obtained by reaction of aldohexoses or carbohydrates composed of at least 50 mol % of aldohexoses as monomer units, modified with polyhydric alcohols, are characterised in that they contain as sweeteners, in a physiologically acceptable quantity, a) acesulfam or b) synthetic sweeteners in general and c) those of the abovementioned polysaccharides, in the preparation of which hydrogen fluoride is used as acid and simultaneously as solvent. |
